ABOUT THIS POSITION

KBRwyle has a requirement for an experienced Senior Electronic Warfare Intel Analyst / Engineer to support our operations in Pt. Mugu, CA. The candidate will support the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Integrated Project Team (IPT) at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPS), specifically assigned for development of Mission Planning Environments (MPE) and providing sensor engineering and liaison for AN/ALQ-217 Electronic Support Measures (ESM) System for E-2C/D HAWKEYE Aircraft

The ideal candidate will have experience in EW system, EW subsystem, or EW platforms such as the E2-C/D aircraft and some experience with ELINT and using EW Intel Data sources such as EWIR, KILTING, and Gail systems.

Roles and Responsibilities include the following:

Performs Electronic Warfare Intelligence Analysis (EWIA) to model and characterize threat Weapon, Platform, Radar, and Communication Systems for use in the EW Mission Planning Applications.

Develops and delivers periodic Rapid Reaction Data Updates to Integrated Test and Evaluation activities in addition to fleet requests.

Responsible for technical requirements associated with Warfare Intelligence Analysis (EWIA) and sensor engineering products and services by adhering to cost, schedule, and performance requirements associated with assigned tasks, products, and services.

Evaluates performance, progress, and accomplishments of doing in depth signals exploitation using intelligence community tools and databases

Candidate will work very closely with engineering teams, provide inputs to various product requirements documents, develop and document test points and test procedures for new software builds, and evaluate new software performance.

Candidate will participate in weekly team meetings attended by other test organizations, system developers, and other contractors, submit system and Software Anomaly Reports, perform data analysis, and post data to the common data sharing system.

Candidate will also provide feedback and work with product developers, OEMs, fleet and T&E aircrew, and other analysts in identifying problems, recommending solutions, and closing deficiencies.

Provide assistance in promulgating SHEELD Database Updates (2x per year planned).Travel is authorized, but not required.(If desired/available to do so.More than likely will be just Point Mugu local squadron support)

Provide modifications for the ESM System and SHEELD demo briefs.

Assemble an ESM SME/SHEELD Rep POC list (Email (NIPR/SIPR) and phone contact) for all squadrons/WTU/NAWDC for current and future SHEELD liaisons.

Begin liaison with the E-2 Fleet Operators in gathering ESM Aircraft Data.Support will include development of a CONOPS and kneeboard/procedure cards and a process for SHEELD to receive the data.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 10 years of experience is required.

  • Clearance Requirement:US Citizen with existing Department of Defense (DoD) clearance or eligible for DoD clearance

Experience / Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience with electronic warfare systems is required.

The preferred candidate will have prior experience in one of the following areas:

  • Active Duty experience as an NFO serving in a fleet E2-C/D squadron

  • Electronic Warfare Intelligence

  • Electronic Warfare engineering
