Training Specialist/ Exercise Planner


KBRwyle has an immediate requirement to provide Training and Exercise Developer and Facilitator supporting NORAD-USNORTHCOM (N and NC) J7 at Peterson AFB, CO. The candidate will develop, design and deliver original, unique, small to mid-level immersion N and NC Small Group Scenario Trainer (SGST) scenarios via the associated computer/web based platform, performance aides and instructional videos. Develop exercise preparation materials and supporting information which may include: planning, execution and assessment of a wide variety of exercise related tasks to include exercise support plans, SGST training content, controller/evaluator plans; and exercise and program briefings. Coordinate requirements gathering with Government subject matter experts to arrange and prepare exercises. Lead, manage and act as Facilitator and/or Controller during exercise execution. Conduct SGST post exercise lesson learned activities which may include: briefings, development and di

stribution of meeting materials, prepare meeting minutes, document post-exercise survey results, lessons learned into Government database and program improvement plans. Develop scenarios for N and NC Assessor Authority Training Program, Qualification and Continuation Training, and Command Post Exercises with SGST exercise products and capabilities by building complementary exercise elements. Maintain an updated library of exercises and design/preserve Reusable Training Objects that can be used in a variety of different exercises and training scenarios. Train N and NC users on capabilities, functions and how to use the SGST platform components during exercise and training events. Troubleshoot SGST technical issues and administer SGST user accounts. Candidate works as a member of a small multifunctional team often given limited data/information, but expected to arrive at a 70-80 percent solution.

Required. Bachelor's Degree. Years of experience may be substituted for a degree. Ten (10) years of DOD related experience. Four (4) years of experience in training and exercise design/development at the tactical, operational and strategic levels. Computer proficiency (no previous SGST experience required). Creativity, innovation and self-initiative a must.

Desired. Master's Degree. Combatant Command (CCMD) staff experience. N and NC CCMD staff experience and knowledge of mission sets. Experience with development or execution of N and NC Assessor Authority Qualification Training, Command Post Exercises and MSEL Development experience highly desired.
