Description

KBRwyle is seekinga KC-130 Loadmaster to fly in support of Naval Test Wing Atlantic and VX-20.Primary KC-130J responsibilities include but are not limited to: Aircraft Pre-flight/Post-flight, weight and balance, aircraft checklist management, normal and emergency procedures, fueling, ground/inflight fuel management, aerial refueling, functional check flight requirements, discrepancy reporting as well as loading and offloading cargo and passengers. Maintain an APU Operator certification. Complete an annual Naval Air Training and Operating Procedure Standards (NATOPS) flight check, open and closed book tests and egress training. Complete annual ground and flight Crew Resource Management (CRM) training. Complete Naval Aviation Survival Training Program (NASTP) training for class 2 aircraft (i.e., C-130) with a 4 year re-currency requirement.

Education/Experience: A high school diploma/GED or equivalent is required. Selected candidate is required to have formal military training and 15-17 years of relevant experience. Current Naval Aviation Survival Training Program (NASTP) certification with at least one year of eligibility remaining is required (swim/devices/physiology qualification). This survival training includes a ride in the 9D6B Modular Egress Training System (METS). Current military or FAA Class II medical certification and ability to meet annual FAA Class II medical recertification are required. Aerial in-flight refueling qualification is required. Night Systems Qualification is required. Applicant shall have a minimum of 4500 hours of flight crew experience; 800-1000 hours of experience as an instructor in the aircraft or flight simulator.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of DOD/FAA rules and regulations governing aircraft operations is required. Knowledge of the C/KC-130 NATOPS manual is required. The ability to work with integrated test teams comprised of military, civilian and contractor personnel is required. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required.
