EPBL: Sr. Logistics Coordinator
First level supervisor responsible for supervising personnel and for hands on logistics activities in the area of logistic support services performing a broad array of assignments, related to the procurement, receipt, shipment, and disposition of materials, in a variety of areas such as inventory management, warehousing, material control, property management, transportation activities, technical documentation and other duties associated with life cycle technologies relating to DOD or contracts.
Recommends personnel actions related to performance management and hiring/firing decisions.
Leads daily shift activities.
Works independently conferring with superiors on unusual matters.
Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring analysis and evaluation.
Works within established policies and/or precedents.
Knows and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of a particular field of specialization, to complete difficult assignments, in providing logistics support services. Knowledge of DOD, FAR, and KBRwyle policies regarding inventory management, procurement regulations and inventory processes associated with life cycle support may be essential in meeting specific customer contract requirements at various KBRwyle locations.
Skill in military and/or industrial inventory and material management techniques which include packing, handling, storage and preservation. Experience may be necessary for those aspects of transportation efforts that relate to the handling of hazardous materials for both domestic and international shipments.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Ability to learn and use Maximo warehouse management software
Ability to learn D035
Obtain Greenbelt certification within one year of employment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related technical training In lieu of formal education, at least 8 years of progressive related experience. 4 years of specialized military experience in the relative field can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
