KBRwyle Electrical Engineer in Midwest City, Oklahoma
This position will support our Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS), B-1 and B-52 customers, by solving electrical sustainment issues. The sustainment projects address obsolete components in multiple instrumentation, control, power, electronic, electro-mechanical interface systems. The engineer will be responsible for study, design, specification and services related to electrical and electronic. Under direct supervision, evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within one functional area, assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Job tasks may include:
Providing technical solutions
Diagnosing malfunctions in existing components and make improvements or modification to produce the desired results
Developing technical documentation and publications relating to users, systems, processes, work flows, operations, products, and services.
Creating new electrical schematics
Implementing design changes of existing components
Writing engineering change orders and reports
This position requires a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of two (2) years of general electrical engineering ora Masters in Electrical Engineering with electrical engineering experience. The candidate must have good oral and written communication skills. The candidate must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
Aerospace, DOD or ATCALS experience are definite pluses. The ideal candidate will have experience with circuit design, signal/power analysis, instrumentation, EMI/radar and programming skills. Skills in SolidWorks Electrical and NI Circuit Design Pro are also preferred. Certification as an Engineer-In-Training is preferred.
