Independently applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, develop,implement, test and evaluate systems on current or proposed military weapon systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Directly performs engineering functions such as system integration, integration testing, and resource management.



  1. Candidate should have 6-8 years of “on aircraft” Avionics/Electrical experience. To include, but not limited to, a working knowledge of the following:

  2. Analysis of avionics communications channels such as MIL-STD-1553B data bus, ARINC-429, Ethernet, RS-170 video, and discreet channels.

  3. Aircraft power distribution and circuit protection.

  4. Aircraft electrical diagrams and engineering drawings.

  5. Aircraft wiring harness assembly and repair.

  6. Familiar with the use of test equipment such as, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Time domain reflectometer.

  7. Knowledge of the Principle of operations for Naval Anti-submarine Warfare systems would be preferable. P-3, P-8, MH-60R background would be a plus.

  8. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

  9. Candidate should have good electrical/mechanical comprehension to perform maintenance on semi- trailer to include:

  10. Electrical/Pneumatic systems to perform inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance on trailer air supply and distribution systems.

  11. Electrical/Hydraulic systems to perform inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance on trailer ancillary systems.

  12. Candidate should have a basic understanding of computer systems, such as:

  13. Hardware troubleshooting, removal and replacement of defective components.

  14. Computer networking infrastructure and configurations using Windows 10 and Red Hat.
