ABOUT THIS POSITION

The successful candidate will be part of a talented software team to develop and maintain mission-critical applications. Responsibility will be primarily requirements gathering and technical writing while participating in the full software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will be expected to utilize tools and follow processes that ensure high quality software is delivered.

The successful candidate will be expected to utilize tools and follow processes that ensure high quality software is delivered.

Responsibilities:

Given source materials from software development and systems engineering team members, create requirements documents, version description documents, and other related documents.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience is required. Four (4) additional years of professional work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • US Citizen with eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • The successful candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills and be able to express ideas clearly and logically in a variety of media.

  • They must be detail oriented, curious, self-motivated, a persistent problem solver, able to understand complex material and explain it clearly.

  • Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
