KBRwyle Systems Analyst in Lexington Park, Maryland
KBRwyle is engaged in the integration, test and evaluation, installation, maintenance, configuration, and management of Area Control Systems (ACS) equipment for our Navy client located in St. Inigoes, Maryland. KBRwyle is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to provide routine to moderately complex information assurance services to the organization. Under direct supervision, thecandidate will apply cyber security accreditation principles in a team environment to develop information assurance accreditation packages for Air Traffic Control (ATC) and other ACS systems.This position requires daily interaction with KBRwyle ACS Hardware team members and Government customer representatives. The person in this positionwill be required to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
BS or BA degree in a relevant Technical Discipline. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience for a total of ten (10) years; OR an additional eight (8) years of experience for a total of fourteen (14) years may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
At least six (6) years of experience with mid-sized client-server systems in systems analysis, software design, software development, and database administration. Four (4) years of experience in testing, engineering support, and configuration management of computer systems, including three (3) years of experience in testing and configuration management of the ACS branch FACSFAC systems specified in the SOW, or equivalent automated air traffic control/surveillance systems.Minimum of two years of work experience in Government information assurance and cyber security. Demonstrated experience applying security risk assessment methodology to system development, including threat model development, vulnerability assessments, and resulting security risk analysis.
The ideal candidate is technically proficient, organized and detailed-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. The position requires the candidate to work both independently and collaboratively with co-workers and customers. The following skills and abilities are required:
Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Familiarity with the development of RMF artifacts.
Familiarity with a DoD accreditation process.
Ability to perform risk mitigation on Windows 7 and Windows 10 platforms.
Ability to gather and determine IA requirements.
The following skills are not required but are highly desired:
Familiarity with the Marine Corp IA process is highly desirable.
This position requires US Citizenship and an ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
