Senior Program Engineering Analyst
Role and Responsibilities
This position provides technical and analytical support services for acquisition, engineering, and integration planning of electronic warfare (EW) systems to the Kuwait F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs in Lexington Park, MD. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Responds to direction from company manager/supervisor. Provides, supports and complies with a variety of company activities (e.g. required/contractual training, special projects, proposals, data calls, etc.).
Performs services and analyses in support of program management, acquisition, technical, or business efforts. As a result, provides recommendations and provides products to support the Kuwait F/A-18 program lifecycle decisions.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Reviewing procurement specifications and data packages, Test and Evaluation (T&E) suitability/supportability documentation, reviewing technical recommendations on Engineering Changes; Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directive kit incorporation
Participate in technical working groups to resolve engineering issues, monitor the progress of Software Configuration Set (SCS) development and certification efforts, maintain an SCS requirements tracking matrix, participate in the analysis and development of System Operational Requirements (SORs), Impact Assessments (IAs), and System Anomaly reports (SARs);
Integrate and coordinate technical efforts with a variety customers and manufacturers to develop and implement aircraft upgrade program/project planning, procurement, and development of associated acquisition and procurement documentation.
Collect, assess, and provide technical and financial analyses and recommendations to assist in the development, coordination, and integration of program technical and business solutions.
Develops and coordinates a wide range of program related products: acquisition documentation, engineering change proposal review and assessment, CDRL development, drafting of SOW, develop decision briefings for the customer
Education / Experience Requirements
A MS or MA degree in Business, Managementor relevant technical discipline. At least ten (10) yearsof experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline, related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; six (6) years out of the ten (10) years of recent work experience must be relatedprofessional experience in technical analysis and planning efforts. Allowable Substitution :BS or BA degree, and an additional three (3) years of experience can be substituted for the MS or MA degree. An additional five (5) years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Applicant must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Demonstrated experience in program/project status
Familiarity with SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD processes
Desired Experience Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in processes and efforts relating to weapon system engineering, systems engineering, and test & evaluation; preferably aircraft/aviation systems.
