ABOUT THIS POSITION

Program Analyst shall support the PMA-265 Mission Planning IPT, product team. The candidate shall analyze program requirements, track and update status, draft schedules, review and track contract deliverables, integration, fleet release, and sustainment. The candidate is desired to have general knowledge of F-18 and EA-18G aircraft and associated JMPS mission planning, as well as general acquisition knowledge. The Individual is expected to work in a dynamic and rewarding, but fast paced Integrated Product Team environment. Some travel may be required. The Individual will collect, complete, organize and interpret technical and/or financial information relating to weapon system acquisition, and product programs.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

BS or BA degree in a Business related field.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA.

At least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years of professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development is desired.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Demonstrated experience in program/project status and schedules, demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series), and experience with processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military programs.
