KBRwyle is seeking a highly motivated Electronics/Electrical Field Engineer to join our E-2 Instrumentation and Mission Systems Lab team at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in support of Force Warfare flight test. Task requirements will include wiring/connector repair, modifications, and installs, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation systems along with Pre-flight and Post-flight inspections of E-2 platforms.


High School diploma is required. The candidate should have six years of experience with the E2-C or E2-D aircraft platform with a firm foundation of troubleshooting and diagnosing systems with the use of schematics and various test equipment such as, but not limited to, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Meters. Completion of electronic technical repair courses or I-level military training in electronic systems troubleshooting/repair is required.


Must have a solid history of functioning in a team environment, be a self-starter, and able to work independently with limited instruction after training, while meeting critical demands. This will require the candidate to have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced aviation environment with attention to detail. Avionic experience working in other military aircraft will be considered a plus. Candidate must be willing to work Dayshift or Nightshift and weekends when needed. Some travel is required; candidate must be willing to travel throughout the United States and internationally. Secret security clearance with investigation completed within last four years required.
