Description

Researches, writes, and edits technical data/Electronic Wok Instructions (EWI’s) for use in documents and other publications for F-15, C-130, F-16, E-3, and A-10, aircraft Auxiliary Power Units (APU), and related components.

Works with internal and external customers to ensure that technical documentation is complete and accurate.

Coordinates with other internal support organizations.

Assists in establishing style guidelines for text and illustrations.

Integrates a range of inputs to job performance; includes inputs from task and project requirements, and a range of theories and concepts.

May support proposal compiling/ editing.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in related field, with at least 4 years of related experience. In lieu of formal education, 12 years of equivalent related experience. Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.

Must be able to obtain base access and CAC card.

Knowledge of aircraft repair and overhaul operations a plus.

Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Computer literate in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
