Patriot Simulation Supported Training Technician and RT3 Administrator-O'Ahu Hawaii


The applicant will be required to provide technical and analytical subject matter expertise in ADA joint and gunnery training. The contractor shall possess the supporting the technical integration of simulations for supporting operational training and testing events. Provide technical expertise in the planning, conduct of, and evaluation of live, virtual and constructive exercises for Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD). The contractor will be a lead simulation planner for the unit to assist with the planning, coordination, and preparation of the scenarios, simulations, and networks of training events. This requisite expertise includes an ability to attend exercise planning conferences; plan the implementation of the threat network to support the simulation architecture; troubleshooting network routers; switches, VoIP; conduct planning and coordination with all key stake holders; conduct planning and coordination in establishment of the simulation architecture; develop scenario and provide database information for simulators and supporting simulations; troubleshooting and testing simulation-to-tactical Patriot system interfaces; providing simulation support during the execution of an event and recovery after the completion of the event. The contractor shall provide, operate, and maintain other simulations as necessary and feasible to support training events. Provide expertise for the Flight Mission Simulator-Digital (FMS-D) to support the training event once they are provided by the government. The contractor will conduct training prior to all quarterly ADC/CPX/CIXs and then conduct the simulation training event itself. Additionally the contractor may be called upon to provide support for other joint exercises such as Key Resolve, UFG and any other future exercises. The contractor will also provide support for the Reconfigurable Table Top Trainer (RT3) system in the capacity as a system administrator, operator and simulation supported event integrator.Applicant must be able to manage Linux Red Hat (RHEL), Windows 7, and Sun Solaris computer platforms. Certifications in any of the above OS’s are preferred.


HS Grad and 4-6 years or BS Degree and 2-4 years of US Army ADA Experience required. BS ENG, CS Preferred but not required. Reconfigurable Table Top Trainer (RT3) Experience required. Security Certification required within 120 days of hire. SECRET Security Clearance required. Able to learn how to operate and configure proprietary simulation software. Must be able to work 8-10 hour days without issues. Must be able to lift 45 lbs. without assistance.
