KBRwyle Test Engineer in Dayton, Ohio
KBRWyle is seeking to fill a junior test engineer position in support of semiconductor device research and reliability analysis at the Air Force Research Laboratory. The selected candidate will provide the following testing and analysis in a laboratory environment under moderate supervision, and report on the results of these analyses.
Roles and Responsibilities:
DC, and RF characterization of semiconductor devices
DC and RF reliability testing on multiple vendor devices
Utilize Quantum Focus Instruments (QFI) microscope to collect biased device images and assist with failure analysis
Assemble reliability test station test fixtures to ensure compatibility with specified vendor and desired testing conditions
Perform basic troubleshooting with the software and hardware contained in the reliability test stations
Manage calibration schedules for all equipment in the lab and for the reliability test stations
Required Skills & Experience
A Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required. The selected candidate must have the ability to collect and organize data from reliability test stations for technical reports, presentations and analyses. Must be a US citizen.
Desired Skills and Experience
Skilled in MATLAB, Solidworks, MS Office, and LabVIEW. Experienced in the use of analog and digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, function and signal generators, soldering irons, and ribbon welders is highly desired.
