Sr. Logistics/Sustainment Manager
KBRwyle requires a Senior Logistics/Sustainment Manager to support AFLCMC Commander Directed Programs (AFLCMC/OZJ) with expertise on logistics planning, document development and metrics analysis to support AFLCMC aircraft sustainment Request for Proposal (RFP) development, proposal technical evaluation, and expert advice for future Product Support planning. This position will support development and coordination of acquisition program documentation required for sustainment contract awards.
Travel: Regular travel (25%) to Langley AFB, VA; Pentagon, VA; Hill AFB, UT and other Fighter a/c acquisition and operations location will be required.
The senior logistics manager must demonstrate comprehensiveexperience and knowledge of:
Weapon system life cyclesustainment planning,
Product SupportAssessments/Logistics Health Assessments
Performance based logisticscontracts,
Current USAF maintenance, depotand supply chain management capability,
Air Force Materiel Command andAir Force Life Cycle Management Center policies, processes and procedures
Development and review of acquisitionstrategy and program milestone support documents
The Senior Logistics Manager must have at least 10 years ofexperience in acquisition or sustainment logistics with the DoD/Air Force. At least two (2) years of logisticsexperience must be within the last 5 years.
Candidate must possess the ability to work well as part of ateam and with minimal supervision.
This position will be a key member of a high-performance,fast-paced, high visibility team that has been tasked with building a 400 personorganization within the next five years. Key management skills required:

Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experienceis required.The position willallow various combinations of education and experience using a 1 year ofeducation for 1 year of experience substitution.
Experience working in AFLCMC (orpredecessor organizations) aircraft or major subsystem program offices
Experience with Fighter Aircraftsustainment, logistics, and supply chain management
DAWIA Life Cycle Logistics level2 or higher certification
Breadth of logisticsexperience/expertise at staff, joint, Defense Logistics Agency, supply chainoperations or sustainment, product center, maintenance at wings or depots, anddeployment.
