This position provides product support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s C-130J program office at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.The AFLCMC/WLNN Program Office requires one (1) senior configuration manager as a Configuration Manager to provide the team with expertise in configuration and data management supporting C-130 Milestone Decision documentation development and approval, C-130 Request for Proposal (RFP) development, proposal technical evaluation, and program execution.The individual will review markings on technical data packages, technical orders, and time-compliance technical orders to determine the C-130J contractor’s data rights assertions and provide inputs to the government’s data rights positions.They will compile, review, and organize data in the Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System (JEDMICS).

Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

The senior configuration manager must demonstrate comprehensive experience and knowledge of:

  • Technical Order/Time Compliance Technical Order validation and verification

  • Technical Manual Contract Requirements

  • Drawing reviews

  • JEDMICS

  • DoD and USAF data rights policies

  • Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation guidelines

  • Air Force Materiel Command and Air Force Life Cycle Management Centerpolicies, processes, and procedures

  • Breadth of logistics experience with ACAT I milestone decision preparation

The Senior Configuration Manager must have at least 10 years in configuration management with the DoD/Air Force.A Bachelor’s degree is desired, but experience can be exchanged for a degree.Candidate must possess the ability to work well as part of a team or with minimal supervision.
