Facility/Operations Manager


KBRwyle requires an Acquisition Operations/Facility Manager to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center F-35 Planning cell (AFLCMC/OZJ) and other customers in the planning, execution and analysis of standing up new large scale acquisition and sustainment units. This candidate will be the primary facilities management SME supporting the government team.This candidate will provide guidance, recommendations, and expertise in supporting the government stand up of a 440-person organization within the next 2-4 years. This includes assisting the government in assisting the contractor team’s efforts to develop and execute transition plans in the following arenas:

  • Facilities

  • Program Security

  • Personnel

  • IT support

  • Resource ManagementEducation: A bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of operations/facility management experience required. Within experience, nine (9) years of SAP Security experience required, along with 12 months or more of experience in a SAP environment within the last five (5) years. The position will allow various combinations of education and experience using a 1 year of education for 1 year of experience substitution.Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:The Facilities/ Operations Manager must demonstrate comprehensive experience and knowledge of:

  • Current Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center policies, processes and procedures

  • Current DoD and Air Force security processes, policies and procedures

  • AFLCMC civilian personnel system to include manpower planning, hiring and personnel management activities

  • Military personnel system to help ensure proper military staffing of the new organization can occur on schedule

  • Analytical and evaluative methods to accomplish long-range strategic planning for resources (facilities, contracts, human resources, security, IT, equipment and other government equipment)

  • Military organizations, programs, missions, and functions necessary to analyze and determine plans, program and initiatives to support an organization’s current and future requirementsThe candidate in this position will be a key member of a high-impact, fast-paced, high visibility team.Key skills required include:

  • Experience working in AFLCMC (or predecessor organizations) aircraft program offices

  • Experience with Fighter Aircraft acquisition, sustainment, logistics,and supply chain management organizations
