ABOUT THIS POSITION
Functional Description: Respond to Fleet Trouble calls within 24 hours; travel on less than 24 hours notice to OCONUS/CONUS Fleet fixed and expeditionary locations to perform troubleshooting and maintenance as required; identify Fleet fixed and expeditionary facility requirements and plan budgetary requirements; perform scheduled, unscheduled, and preventative maintenance tasks on Fleet fixed and expeditionary facilities.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree or, in lieu of degree, 12 years' relevant experience
Required Experience: Master-level Subject Matter Expert (greater than 8 years relevant experience)
Required Security Clearance: Top Secret
Required Skills: Master-level experience in Navy facilities MILCON and maintenance; maintenance of fixed and expeditionary support shelters; trained in accordance with DOD Lock program; HVAC training and certification; trained in CINCH and Lenel IDS systems; deploy, setup, teardown, and test expeditionary support systems (ESS) and Tactical Maintenance Logistics Support systems (TMLSS) to meet immediate Fleet requirements; satellite acquisition and IDS operation and monitoring; replace and maintain security locks IAW DOD lock program; perform scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks on Fleet fixed expeditionary facilities; identify requirements; operate and maintain Intruder Detection Systems (IDS) for Fleet fixed and expeditionary facilities; oversee Fleet fixed and expeditionary facilities construction, testing, and delivery to ensure they meet ICD/ICS 705 requirements.
Experience working in the special access program (SAP) environment; proficient in use of industry standard software tools; decision making skills that promote working autonomously from government oversight when managing and executing projects, tasks and work assignments; public speaking and briefing skills; ability to manage, motivate, and lead teams.
