Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist with a background in performing receipt, return and shipping operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving Inspection, Measurement and Test Equipment that is turned in by users for calibration and/or repair, and documenting user observations, which may be technical in nature.

  • Documenting and tracking details around equipment that is turned in, including equipment owning department and prioritization.

  • Maintaining, updating and improving as needed metrics and visuals communicating the area status.

  • Filing and organization of documents as needed.

  • Directly interface with customers and equipment users in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Maintaining equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.

  • Resolving group and customer issues, improving the overall productivity of the department using Lean and Six Sigma principles, anticipating problems and initiating appropriate actions to eliminate them.

  • Orders, organizes and maintains administrative supplies according to company policy.

  • Requests quotes, RMA’s and customer approvals for precision instrument calibration and repair.

  • Drives vendor and outsource metrics.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

HHigh School diploma or GED and 4 years of related experience.

MMay be required to type 50 wpm.

SSpecific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.

  • Must be highly experienced and proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Precision instrument calibration environment experience preferred

  • Calibration recall/calibration scheduling experience preferred

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to shifting priorities

  • Adaptive/fast learner

  • Ability to lift up to 35 Lbs. to table height.

  • Experience with Fluke software a plus.Experience with physical or electronic Metrology/Precision instrument calibration environment preferred

  • Calibration recall/calibration scheduling experience preferred
