ABOUT THIS POSITION

Performs a variety of complex project tasks applied to specialized technology problems. Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems or technology problems. Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of work flow, organization, and planning. Directs and assists system engineers in the application of system engineering principles to the solution of secure systems design problems. Expert knowledge of LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, network protocols, and other security and network operations and monitoring, vulnerability analysis, PKI, data encryption, key management, data warehousing, and data mining capabilities.

Local candidates preferred; relocation package not available.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering, and have minimum of 8 years of experience.

  • Must have Secret clearance and be a US citizen.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess experience in performing SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic S&T and R&D systems engineering and analysis for system development, improvements, optimization, and support effort recommendations.

  • Conduct work flow, organization, and planning problem resolution analysis.

  • Performed systems engineering lifecycle documentation development (systems engineering management plan, requirements documentation, design documentation).

  • Understand and performed business, data, and technical architecture documentation preparation.

  • Used system engineering principles applying them to secure system design problem solutions/LAN, WAN, VPN, router, firewall, network protocols and other security and network operations and monitoring, vulnerability analysis, PKI, data encryption, key management, data warehousing, and data mining expertise.
