ABOUT THIS POSITION

Selected candidate will be responsible for JIAS project management/Operational management of complex PMO processes, procedures, standards, and tools via industry standards (Work Breakdown Structures, Microsoft Project scheduling tools, cost estimating tools, and financial tracking tools). Stringently support SPAWAR USMC project operational aspects management (scope, schedule, and cost). Will also ensure successful completion of complex navy science and technology projects (SPAWAR Atlantic missions, DoC SIPRNet upgrades, WPPL-D drawing package development) within budget and schedule constraints. Will provide Government property acquisition support and Government-furnished property transition, timely implementation of schedules and technical and financial solutions, TO and workload management, Project analysis, will perform contract and DO administration. Conduct timely DO implementation, written and oral communication skills/Quality product delivery.

Local candidates preferred; relocation package not available.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA in Project Management and a minimum 10 years related experience.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Must have an active SECRET clearance.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must have experience managing complex projects utilizing recognized industry standard tools such as Work Breakdown Structures, Microsoft Project scheduling tools, cost estimating and financial tracking tools.

  • Additionally, possess experience in successfully completing complex Navy Science and Technology projects within budget and schedule constraints.
