ABOUT THIS POSITION
Performs various advanced administrative projects/assignments in support of a director/manager, department or program, which may require the development of new solutions to department/site operational issues. Works multiple priority activities concurrently, work is varied and administrative projects are complex. Implements management directives and adapts internal systems and procedures to enhance operating efficiencies, in support of operating objectives. Prepares and analyzes department or program specific data, such as budget/cost estimates, contract specifications, flow charts, labor hour estimates, and/or field operating funds. Serves as a department administrative leader and provides guidance to lower level administrators. Maintains department/site databases and statistical spreadsheets. May serve as department/site training coordinator. May administer or assist in the administration of a fiscal management system including but not limited to financial planning, budgeting, etc. by applying sound accounting principals. May conduct physical inspections of equipment, track/maintain inventory records and prepare related reports. May maintain personnel records for department/site including leave records, salary actions, expense reports, etc. ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Performs other administrative tasks of comparable nature and difficulty as assigned.
Local candidates preferred; relocation package not available.
Education:Associate’s Degree in Business or Computer Science.
Experience:Four (4) years of experience, to include: word processing, spreadsheet development, documenting management issues, financial analysis, datacollection, report processing, brief preparation, read milestone schedules and send and receive emails. Two (2) years of work experience shall be within DoD. Note: Experience may be concurrent.
