KBRwyle is seeking Top-Talent for our Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland location. We are currently seeking a Radar Engineer to support our Product Director Airborne Reconnaissance Team.

In this role, you will provide radar Engineering support for an airborne system; includingwide-area ground moving target indicator (GMTI), dismount moving target indicator( DMTI ) and synthetic aperture radar (SAR).Comprehend radar phenomenology, including hardware components, signal processing techniques, antenna design, modeling, and simulation to support both ground based and airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) radars.

In addition, you will be required to provide expertise to evaluate vendor proposed radar solutions, algorithms, and techniques.

Will be required to coordinate with the multiple contractors and Government organizations on technical solutions.

Participates in weekly project and engineering meetings to review project progress and issues.

Communicates and coordinates with the senior military leadership, US Government customers, Contracting officer and Contractors (Prime and Sub), to establish relationships to support program management business rhythms, capture initiatives and other new requirements as appropriate.

Reviews and evaluate projects Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) .

Attends various PD ARL IPTs, provide engineering input to vendors and team members.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline plus 10 years of experience in HW/SW design, development, integration and documentation or in a related field of system and test engineering.

Must have experience in DOD application development.

Must have an active security clearance to be considered.

Must be able to travel.

Must possess the ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative, and innovation when dealing with ambiguous and fast-paced situations.

Must be able to lead multiple teams, manage relationships, and be a key contributor in training efforts.

Excellent data-gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.

Additional skills:

-Experience with SAR or GMTI radars

-Experience with radar signal processing and RF design

-Experience with radar modeling and simulation

-Experience with radar architectures and overseeing the design of radar systems and components

-Experience with supporting radar test and evaluation both in simulated and live environments

-Experience with MATLAB or radar simulation software

-Excellent technical management and communication required to oversee execution and technical accuracy.

-Experience with integrating sensors on an aerial platform (preferred)

-Experience with aircraft flight handling and general flight operations and support
